Who We Are

Underwater Camera Housing Repair and Maintenance

I am Shen Collazo, the Owner/Technician of Ocean Inventions, Underwater Camera Housings Maintenance and Repair. We are located in Southeast Florida. I have been working on underwater photo and video camera housings for almost 20 years. For most of those years I worked as the only full-time specialist/technician at Reef Photo & Video, repairing and overhauling camera housings and related equipment. This experience provided my expertise at making adjustments, repairs, overhauls, and solutions to issues with underwater camera housings and associated underwater photo equipment. I am an avid diver and underwater photographer myself, so can relate to my clients! I also work with lathe machines and personally produce my own parts when they are not available, often achieving a quality superior to the original components. I specialize in brands such as Nauticam, Subal, Sea&Sea, Ikelite, and essentially any other brand, from simple GoPro models to complex antiques.

Diagnosis and repair
Making custom parts when necessary
Full overhaul, including but not limited to cleaning and greasing all O-rings, shafts, springs, and moving parts, and also re-painting all markings
Pressure testing
Specialize in brands such as Nauticam, Subal, Sea&Sea, Ikelite, and essentially any other brand, from simple GoPro models to complex antiques.
